Cynthia Glidewell is the owner of G Major Consulting in Fort Smith, AR. She received her degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas and her BS degree in Business from John Brown University.  For the past 10 years, Glidewell has traveled extensively throughout the U. S. and worldwide as a Health Care and Life Sciences Consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Accenture, Ness Technologies, and G Major Consulting.  She has worked extensively in Quality Systems and Regulatory Compliance. 

Glidewell's ability to work with people from various ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds has been key in her success as a Regulatory Compliance/Quality Systems/Validation manager.  She consistently brings her projects in on time and on budget. 

On the clinical side, Cyndi’s nursing career focus has been in Emergency Nursing, Pain Management, Legal Nurse Consulting and Life Care Planning. Most recently she has worked with an Outpatient Pain Management Clinic developing their Quality Systems and business processes.  Working  

Glidewell is a published author.  Her writing background includes authoring a “Life Care Planning in the Catastrophically Injured Aging” for the University of Florida Rehabilitation Training Institute, Adverse Events Reporting for RN’s for Abbott Laboratories, and numerous other educational materials for diverse audiences. After extensive research in travel amoung the senior population, she was commissioned by Thomas Nelson Publshing to author, "The Red Hat Society Travel Guide".  She has been guest lecturer at numerous national conferences and events on subjects including Forensic Medicine, Nursing and Life Care Planning, Fitness and Aging, AIDS, Travel, and Real Estate.

In 1998, with one son in college and another son and daughter soon to follow, Cyndi and her husband Jerry adopted 2 children, a daughter and son, ages 6 ½ and 2 from an orphanage Vidin, Bulgaria. Keeping a strong focus on her marriage, children and spirituality has allowed Cyndi to successfully balance her family and her career.

Her quest to travel to all 50 United States by age 50 is something that Glidewell has relished. With frequent trips to New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, she feels as comfortable in the big city, as she does in the suburbs or rural America. At home in Fort Smith, she lives with her husband, two youngest children, Emily and Jay, two dogs, Sophie and Tess. In her spare time, she enjoys music, reading, waterskiing, fishing and golf.
